I had my friend write my bio because I find it way too difficult…. Yasmin, a New Yorker through and through, began her formal musical training at the precocious age of 8 and has always shone in the spotlight. When given the choice between a career in TV or music as a child, Yasmin chose the violin as her expressive vehicle. Her love of music brought her to Hunter College in NYC, by way of the Crane School of Music. After sustaining injuries from a near-tragic motorcycle accident, Yasmin decided to pursue a doctoral degree at the Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, IN. Fortunately, her academic career could not compete with her love of the stage and she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her love of music and performance. She has shared the stage with Volumen Cero, the Dirges, The Mighty Regis, The Young Dubliners, Tim Robbins, Cranky George and Model K, showing off her impressive skill and versatility. Yasmin currently performs regularly throughout New York City, and is always looking for new opportunities to play music. Email Yasmin!
