We knew we wanted an Irish pub with a cozy atmosphere, but were direction-less…..There aren’t too many cozy Irish pubs in the LES. Lo and behold, we accidentally stumbled upon the perfect place for a snowy day….<a href="http://www.donnybrooknyc.com/" target="_blank">Donnybrook</a>!!!</p> <p>A dark wood bar with a rolling ladder, large rustic wooden tables, paisley wallpaper, and a large lamppost labeled WC (for Water Closet). They have Guinness and Smithwick’s on tap, hand-cut frency fries with sea salt, vinegar and a side of curry, and the most delicious Shepard’s Pie I’ve ever eaten. </p> <p>An absolute must if you crave Irish cuisine.
